Air Lifeline www.airlifeline.org Gets people in financial need to medical treatment facilities by co-ordinating free flights with volunteer pilots. Provides unlimited travel for diagnostic testing, treatment and follow up. American Airlines - Miles for Kids in Need www.aa.com/milesforkids (817) 963-8118 Provides free travel for sick children and their families through donated advantage miles from frequent fliers. A third party such as a charitable organisation or hospital must submit travel requests. Angel Flights (Int'l) http://angelflightsnet.org/afn.htm Provides air travel to children in need of medical treatment "where this treatment might otherwise have been denied for lack of transportation". Covers the eastern United States and the Caribbean, and works with other flight providers to reach the rest of the US. Angel Flight America www.angel-flight.org Provides free flights (1000miles or less) to medical treatment for families who in financial need, or who cannot tolerate commercial travel for health reasons. This service is free of charge, as often as is needed, regardless of financial circumstances.
