Air Lifeline

Gets people in financial need to medical treatment facilities by co-ordinating free flights with volunteer pilots.  Provides unlimited travel for diagnostic testing, treatment and follow up.

American Airlines - Miles for Kids in Need

Provides free travel for sick children and their families through donated advantage miles from frequent fliers.  A third party such as a charitable organisation or hospital must submit travel requests.

Angel Flights (Int'l)

Provides air travel to children in need of medical treatment "where this treatment might otherwise have been denied for lack of transportation". Covers the eastern United States and the Caribbean, and works with other flight providers to reach the rest of the US.

National Patient Air Transport Hotline (US)

Provides online and telephone information about all forms of charitable, long-distance medical air transport and makes referrals to appropriate sources of help available within the national charitable medical air transportation network.
The helpline number is: 1-800-296-1217. It is staffed Mon-Fri, 9am to 5pm (Eastern Time). After hours help is available within 10 minutes of leaving an after-hours message marked Urgent.
