Childhood Cancer Research Group

Oxford University based research group which carries out epidemiological and follow-up studies of childhood cancer, and is responsible for the UK National Registry of Childhood Tumours.

Office of Cancer Survivorship (OCS) at the NIH (US)

OCS funds research into survivorship issues and is dedicated to developing the infrastructure - such as databases and researcher networks - that supports the follow-up needed to study long-term survivors. Supports patient, physician, and public education programmes about cancer survivorship, and works towards interventions that will lessen the burden of cancer survivors.

National Children's Cancer Society (US)

Advocates the cause of children's cancer through financial assistance, family link up programmes, education and awareness campaigning.  Distributes Nikki's BearTM  and produces two books (free to US persons affected by cancer) entitled "The Mountain You Have Climbed" (for teen survivors) and "Sammie's New Mask" colouring book (for young friends of children with cancer).

National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship

Addresses the needs of long-term cancer survivors, and advocates for changes in healthcare to maximise survivors' access to optimal treatment and support.  Has an extensive publication list.
